Tips on applying a Supertag
Follow the following diagrams to apply the Gallagher Supertag animal management tags.
Depress the applicator jaw tab spring and insert the Supertag.
Insert the male Button under the opposite applicator jaw tab.
Dip the loaded applicator into an antiseptic solution to improve application and healing.
Ensure the animal is suitably restrained.
Locate a point in the middle of the ear between major veins and cartilages, slightly off centre towards the head.
With the Male Button positioned to enter the back (outside) of the ear apply a firm squeezing pressure,
listen for the click to confirm tag has locked in, release and pull applicator away.
